Nursing Education, Advanced Certificate
The Master of Science in Nursing Education program is designed for registered nurses who are passionate about teaching and shaping the future of healthcare. This program equips students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to educate the next generation of nurses, blending nursing expertise with instructional strategies, curriculum development, and assessment methods. Program Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program with transcript
2. Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. A holistic review will be considered for not meeting the GPA requirement.
3. Active and unencumbered nursing license
5. Letter of recommendation may be required
6. CV documenting R.N. experience
There are instances when a candidate does not meet GPA requirements for admission. In this situation a holistic admission review will be considered with a request for letters of recommendation that would speak to the student’s potential for success in this program. Candidates believing they may fall into this category may be asked to submit a written self-reflection with their application for admission consideration
