Since 2011 Niagara University has been recognized by G.I. Jobs as a “Veteran Friendly”© institution and is a part of the Yellow Ribbon Program. As a result, a veteran or family member who are covered 100% under chapter 33 will pay nothing towards tuition. Niagara University has a full time office, staffed with a director and coordinator who are here to assist you with your benefits and any other issue related to attending NU. The Veteran’s office is responsible for the certification of your enrollment to initiate your VA Education benefits. The office is also responsible for assisting veterans’ who are transitioning from military to academic life. NU Veteran Services office is also approved for the federal VA workstudy program. If interested, please contact them directly about applying for the VA workstudy position. Niagara University also provides a private Veteran’s Lounge that has computers and a printer. Niagara University has a chapter of the Student Veterans Organization.
