Cyber Defense, M.S.

Niagara University’s Master of Science degree program in Cyber Defense (CD) is designed to prepare individuals for exciting and rewarding careers in cybersecurity. The 12-course (36 credit hours) program equips students to manage and react to cybersecurity threats that have presented challenges across all industries. Students will be trained in our state-of-the-art virtual lab, allowing them to gain skills that can be used in professional areas such as computer and mobile forensics, network security, defensive security, and data privacy.

The program is appropriate for students of many backgrounds, including computer and information sciences, business, criminal justice, accounting, healthcare, and many more. For those who are interested, this program also aligns with several industry-leading certifications.

The Cyber Defense program at Niagara University has been validated and designated by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NCAE-CD).
