To encourage students with outstanding ability and enterprise, Niagara University offers the opportunity for advancement through challenge examinations. Because this policy is subject to specific restrictions, it is important for any student considering a challenge examination to consult his or her adviser. Due to external accreditation or certification policies, certain courses cannot be challenged, so please consult with your Dean before requesting a challenge examination. A student completing a challenge examination is assigned either an S or U grade, and a nonrefundable minimum fee is charged for each challenge examination.
