Except for extraordinary circumstances, students majoring in chemistry and biochemistry are expected to complete major program requirements in fall and spring semesters.

CHE 403 Honors Thesis I may be substituted for CHE 449L Senior Research, CHE 450L Senior Research. Ordinarily, the laboratory work will be taken at the same time that the student covers the related work in lecture.
