Goals

Over the past decade, computer related crimes have increased significantly and the need for digital forensics experts is on the rise. With almost every organization participating in a digital world and as users are becoming more tech-savvy, the need for investigators is increasing and is no longer only tied to law enforcement agencies. The digital forensics minor is designed to prepare students for a career in digital investigations. Upon completion of this program, students will qualify to sit for a certification examination to become certified forensic investigators utilizing industry standards.
