French, Minor

The French Minor consists of a sequence of six courses taken in the French Program. Students may choose to take any six FRE classes as they align with the student's experience with the French Language. Students are encouraged to take the French Proficiency Exam prior to enrolling in their first French course. 

 

Any student can minor in French; no prior French knowledge is necessary. Additionally, students who come to Niagara having studied French in high school can continue their studies with the French Minor and take advanced-level courses in French language, history, and literature.
