The minor in history is awarded to a student who successfully completes a sequence of five courses in history (HIS 199 USA in Contemp World counts as one of the five courses). The sequence must include at least one 300-level course in American history, one 300-level course in global history, and two history electives (at least one at the 200 or 300-level. The sequence is determined by the student in consultation with a departmental advisor.
