Campus Ministry

Rooted in the Catholic tradition and inspired by the charism and spirituality of the Congregation of Mission (Vincentian), the Office of Campus Ministry serves the religious and spiritual needs of our university community. We are committed to fostering spiritual development and faith formation among all Niagara University students. We welcome students of all faiths and religious traditions, while encouraging Catholic students to deepen their Catholic identity and participate actively in the life of the Church.

Guided by the pillars of community, prayer, and Vincentian service, we seek to cultivate personal spiritual discovery and growth. We do this by providing opportunities to gather and build relationships with other students and community members, encouraging participation in the sacramental and liturgical life of the Church, retreats, and other forms of worship and prayer, and engaging in service locally and globally.

Niagara University promises an education of the whole person. Campus Ministry supports this mission by inviting students on an exciting, introspective journey of discovery, to explore and develop their spirituality and come to a greater understanding of their purpose in the world.

The Campus Ministry staff is comprised of professional lay ministers, Catholic priests from the Congregation of the Mission (“Vincentians”), and administrative support. Our office is located on the lower level of the Gallagher Center. The main worship space on campus is on the second floor of Alumni Hall, “Alumni Chapel.” Mass is celebrated during the school year on Sundays at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., also weekdays at 12:15 p.m. and during the summer on Sundays at 10 a.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available during the school year on Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Alumni Chapel and by appointment.
